Emilie, cachée au fond du jardin Petit-Louis la regarde

Petit-Louis s'éloigne prudemment : Emilie, il ne vaut mieux
 pas l'énerver. Alors, il va voir papa dans son bureau, 
qui est occupé à scanner des images sur son nouvel ordinateur.

ensuite, je les imprimerai et je les mettrai dans 
des cadres. Comme ça, maman nous aura toujours 
avec elle...  Ca, c'est un beau cadeau !

Tout le jour, Petit-Louis cherche et cherche, tourne 
et tourne, rien n'est assez bien, rien n'est assez beau
pour maman. Dans son sommeil, il voit s'agiter
des drôles d'images. Voilà déjà le matin, le matin
de la fête des mères, et Petit-Louis n'a rien à offrir
à sa maman sauf son dessin et quelques fleurs. 
Emilie a raison, se dit-il, je suis trop petit, 
trop petit pour tout !" 

All day long, Petit-Louis seeks and seeks, turns

enough for mom. In his sleep, he sees funny pictures.
It is already morning. It is Mother's Day, and Little
Louis has nothing to offer his mom except ....

le jardin avec ses photos encadrées et un gros paquet.

Le petit louis est entre le jardin et son dessin.
