Allumer la cuisinière à gaz

La femme entra dans la cuisine. il faisait sombre. il n'y avait pas d'électricité. elle tâtonna et trouva la bougie sur le réfrigérateur. elle chercha la boîte d'allumettes. Elle ne l'a pas trouvé. elle a trouvé le briquet. Elle se dirigea vers la cuisinière et tourna le bouton de la cuisinière à gaz. elle a mis le briquet sur le brûleur et a appuyé. Une étincelle brillante a frappé le brûleur. le poêle est allumé. Elle voyait clairement la cuisine à la lumière de la flamme.

The woman went into the kitchen. it was dark. there was no electricity. she groaped and found the candle on the fridge.  she searched for the matchbox. She did not find it. she found the lighter.  She went to the stove and turned the gas stove knob. she put the lighter on the burner and pressed. A bright spark hit the burner. the stove is lighted. She saw the kitchen clearly in the light of the flame.
